Miracle on 5th Avenue

Book 3, From Manhattan with Love

This book can be downloaded and read in Apple Books on your Mac or iOS device.

It will take a Christmas miracle for two very different souls to find each other in this perfectly festive fairy tale of New York!

Hopeless romantic Eva Jordan loves everything about Christmas. She might be spending the holidays alone this year, but when she's given an opportunity to house-sit a spectacular penthouse on Fifth Avenue, she leaps at the chance. What better place to celebrate than in snow-kissed Manhattan? What she didn't expect was to find the penthouse still occupied by its gorgeous—and mysterious—owner.

Bestselling crime writer Lucas Blade is having the nightmare before Christmas. With a deadline and the anniversary of his wife's death looming, he's isolated himself in his penthouse with only his grief for company. He wants no interruptions, no decorations and he certainly doesn't appreciate being distracted by his beautiful, bubbly new housekeeper. But when the blizzard of the century leaves Eva snowbound in his apartment, Lucas starts to open up to the magic she brings…This Christmas, is Lucas finally ready to trust that happily-ever-afters do exist?

From Publishers Weekly

Sep 05, 2016 – Morgan completes her From Manhattan with Love trilogy (Sunset in Central Park) at Christmastime, with a sweet, snowy take on the "opposites attract" trope that lets optimism win the day. Crime writer Lucas Blade's grandmother hires lonely Eva Jordan, a caterer, personal assistant, and unshakable romantic, to decorate and fill the freezer of his penthouse while he's away on retreat, but Eva discovers the whiskey-drinking, widowed, Scrooge-like Lucas in residence when she arrives. Eva becomes the inspiration for Lucas's new novel's protagonist, and though he takes the opportunity to shoot down her sunny worldview at every turn, she slowly convinces him to open up about his past and begins to thaw his heart. But their differences don't fire the relationship as much as pace it, and chemistry between the characters is weak. Though the stylized sparkle of Christmas romance comes though at the end, the triumph of those who love love is more about worldview and persistence than about passion, and it sometimes feels as though Eva is bullying Lucas into accepting his potential for happiness.

Love is the Christmas Miracle!

What do you get when you cross an optimistic, honest and trusting woman and a cynical, isolated, depressed, horror writer? You get a Christmas miracle of a surprisingly sweet, heartwarming, sparks a flying and witty romance.

Eva is the romantic of the group and I loved getting more insight into her character. She and Lucas don't agree on much when they first meet, but there is definitely major chemistry between them from the get go.

Sarah Morgan does a fantastic job at creating characters that you can relate to and draws you into the story. I felt the emotions that each of them were going through as they worked through their individual grief with the help of each other.

I have enjoyed this entire series, but this is my favorite so far. Pick up a copy today.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Miracle On 5th Avenue

A wonderful romance novel that I couldn't put down until I finished! I love this author!

Snowbound with the horror writer

Sarah Morgan’s From Manhattan with Love series has been an absolute delight to read. The characters are well-developed and deserving of the HEA Morgan crafts. I’ve known from the beginning that sunny Eva was going to get her HEA with horror writer Lucas Blade. Watching it finally come to fruition in Miracle on 5th Avenue was even more fun than I’d expected. There really is something to opposites attract and they were the perfect pair. The holiday setting makes it even more season appropriate. If you are looking for a good snowstorm book this is it. You can easily read this one as a stand-alone, but why miss seeing Eva’s two best friends also find the men of their dreams?

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.
