LOVE—UNLEASHED. . .
First in a wickedly funny new series brimming with mystery and romance!
Piper Summers works like a dog juggling three jobs to put herself through veterinary school—driving taxis, delivering pizzas, and singing telegrams. Thankfully, Piper has her devoted dachshund Colin to help her keep things in line. That is, until she gets fired...and someone throws her a bone that is too good to resist.
Aiden Caldwell is an Armani ad come to life—a billionaire CEO who’s just adopted a dachshund from the rescue center where Piper volunteers. He’s hot on Piper’s tail to be his personal dog walker...but he may be after more than a walker for his wiener. The gorgeous, spirited Piper is everything he’s ever wanted from a woman—and more. But can Piper ever love, and trust, a man who has never learned to open his heart—or has she bitten off more than she can chew?
Must Love Wieners is the first book in Casey Griffin's Rescue Dog Romance series!

Cute and Adorable
Must Love Wieners is even more fun than the title sounds. This was such a fun read from start to finish. A couple that just worked great together, some amazing dialog, a little over the top personality, and of course a couple cute pups. It was the perfect recipe for a book I couldn't put down.
Piper is a struggling student, trying to make ends meet until she can pass her vet exams and land a real job. In the meantime, she's working three jobs at once and things are just piling up and ready to topple. And topple they do, right into the lap of Aiden Caldwell, a super rich CEO that didn't know he needed to have his life shaken up until Piper does it.
When Piper's life begins to crumble around her, and they someone seems out to get her. When clues point to that someone being Aiden - well, there's trouble in paradise. I loved how the suspense element built up. The answer always seemed to be just out of reach.
The nice little topper on the cake of this romance was the dogs. Even a bit of romance there when two long lost buddies are allowed to re-connect. Well written and a great story. You won't regret picking this one up.
this is a wonderful summer read.
A plot driven story leads the way as we meet veterinary student Piper and her rescue doxie Colin. Hard working with multiple pulls at her time, Piper works three jobs to keep up with school, rent and food, and she’s got a determination and good humor that makes her fun to know. Having multiple jobs that are vastly divergent in tone, she has a singing telegram to deliver that devolves spectacularly into a lap dance. Running from that failed experience, she is followed out the door and into her taxi by the recipient, one CEO named Aiden. And the fun begins.
Aiden is a buttoned-up rather stiff CEO, and he just adopted a dachshund from the shelter that brought Piper her Colin, and where she volunteers. When he spots her again, after not being able to forget her, he’s determined that she will work for him, walking his new adopted doxie Sophia.
Together these two are a series of missteps – Aiden isn’t particularly socially aware, Piper tends to shoot for entendre when she’s nervous or unsettled. Let’s face it: a story about wiener dogs is just the fertile ground for innuendo galore. With a touch of danger to Piper and her Colin, plenty of laughs and development of both Piper and Aiden throughout the story, the twists and turns just add to the fun.
Told in Piper’s point of view, we see her struggles with the buttoned up Aiden, and her clinging, almost desperately to her own self-reliant edge that doesn’t allow her to admit weakness or fear. Fine and I’m fine are frequent utterances, to distraction at times, especially when things are most decidedly NOT fine. With the twists and turns and a culprit in the wings… but who….the story keeps you reading, punctuated with giggles and moments to appreciate. Light, fun and full of doggie love moments, this is a wonderful summer read.
