From Steven Adler, the original drummer for Guns N’ Roses, comes My Appetite for Destruction, the inside story of GNR. Offering a different perspective from the bestselling Slash, Adler chronicles his life with the band, and own intense struggle with addiction, as seen on Dr. Drew’s Celebrity Rehab and Sober House.
If you saw him on celebrity rehab, you already know how much of a mess he was. Now that's he's actually 100% clean, he's a even more lovable character. Steven nails it as far as brutally describing his blur of past life clouded with drug abuse. Great read, will keep you captivated from beginning to end.
An amazing story of hopeless addiction. I read Slashs' book which was good but I think Steve just blows the roof off when it comes to sheer honesty. A tragic story about a guy who had it all and is still struggling everyday to come to grips with himself. He is such a gifted drummer and he was truly the driving force that laid the foundation for one of the greatest rock albums of all time. I highly recommend this to any fan of the REAL G n' R or anyone who wants to have an inside look at what drugs can do to the soul. Good book Steve, love you on the Howard Stern show. STAY CLEAN!!!
Great read, enjoyed tremendously. Now just remember "crack Is whack".
