Description

Trained to protect against all danger, a professional bodyguard can provide all the muscle a woman needs. But when their hearts are on the line, love is the riskiest business . . .

SOMEONE TO WATCH OVER ME

Former child star Sierra Blake is making a stunning Hollywood comeback-and attracting a scary amount of attention. When her home is vandalized and her safety threatened, she knows it's time to bring in the professionals. But from the moment she sets eyes on her indecently sexy new bodyguard, Sierra's thoughts are anything but professional . . .

Few things in this world scare Sean Owens-until he realizes he's in serious danger of losing his heart to his new client. No matter how much he wants to, Sean won't let his feelings for the smart and gorgeous Sierra get in the way of doing his job. Because as the attacks against her escalate, crossing the line between business and pleasure could get them both killed.

From Publishers Weekly

Feb 01, 2016 – Los Angeles celebrities (all fictional) star in Wyatt’s debut, the first in her Bodyguard Series. Former child TV star Sierra Blake is a spokeswoman for Choices, a woman’s health organization, after a wild streak during her teenage years led her to the nonprofit. Someone who has a grudge against the reproductive-rights group begins targeting her. A red-dyed diaper is thrown at her; then someone breaks into her home. She hires bodyguard Sean Owens, impressed by his quiet confidence and the instant pull between them. Sean, a former minor-league baseball player, gave up his career to help his dad with his security firm, though his failure to save someone 10 years earlier haunts him. Rising tensions as the attacks accelerate, incandescent sex scenes, and a believable villain make this a compelling read. The emphasis on women’s issues is appealing, and well-developed secondary characters set up the next book in the series.

Nice kick off!

4 1/2 STARS!

With the first in the Bodyguard series, Tara Wyatt brings us an intriguing read! We're drawn in from the start and continue trying to figure out who is behind all of the threats until the end, while falling for the sexy bodyguards! Loved the character interaction.

When former child actress Sierra Blake starts receiving threats, she reaches out to security expert Sean Owens who she recently met. Sean brings in some of his best men to keep her safe, and takes her under his personal protection. There's just something about her that he can't help but react to.

When the situation continues to increase along with the growing attraction between them, will Sean be able to keep his professional distance to keep her safe or will getting too emotionally invested make him lose his edge?
