Observations on a Life Not Yet Observed
Mildly Amusing Thoughts in the Form of Essays
This book can be downloaded and read in Apple Books on your Mac or iOS device.
Scott Douglas, author of the humor memoir "Quiet, Please: Dispatches from a Public Librarian" offers further insights into the library world and life in general in this collection of over 15 essays and sketches. In this collection, Douglas writes about his epic quest for prophylactics in Baton Rouge, how he failed the high school reading test, how he may be part of the new gay, and his thoughts on the Christian porn industry--amongst many others.
Good read, bad editing
Excellent read for a freebie. TONS of typos and grammatical errors though. You really have to know what the author is intending to say in several areas because the editing is so bad.
Very great book!!!!
Not a huge reader but I downloaded this nd was instantly entertained, very funny stories and a fun easy read,a must download
Ps:there are some typos xD lol
Pretty Chill Read!
At the beginning of Douglas' book his off beat style throw me. However, it eventually began to resonate with me. Definitely a page turner. The chapters are like little sardonic fables perfect for a quick read on the morning commute. And the book is FREE! So what do you have to lose by downloading it :) Stay open minded!!
