In 2016, as America decides who the next president will be, the eyes of the nation and world will be fixed on Ohio. The road to the White House leads right through the Buckeye State because, “as Ohio goes, so goes the nation.” Ohio has the seventh largest number of electoral votes and the longest streak of choosing the winning candidate in the country. In fact, the person who has won Ohio has gone on to become the president in every election since 1964.
At the same time, more of our country's presidents come from Ohio than from any other state. Eight of 44 American presidents were elected from the Buckeye State, earning Ohio the nickname “the Mother of Presidents.”
Discover Ohio’s presidential legacy — from the polling station to the Oval Office — in this fascinating, interactive exploration of American history and politics through the lens of the Buckeye State.

What an interactive book should be
This is a very informational and fun interactive book that has been created and is available for free. Publishing companies should beware of this technology because it it so much more educational and interesting that anything out there. Well done Jason!
A wonderfully detailed look at The Presidents Ohio has produced. Full of fun and interesting facts, great audio clips and pictures.
Engaging way to teach about the Ohio presidents
Using this iBook format allows the student to be fully engaged with the materials - videos, audio files, interactive charts and maps. The songs from each Ohio president’s campaign add a humorous touch and the authentic items on their “desktops” are a creative way to ground each president’s place in history. I recommend this book for use in all Ohio colleges and government classes anywhere in the country.
