From Natalie D. Richards, the New York Times bestselling author of teen suspense books, comes a pulse-pounding thriller about a group of teenagers being hunted through the woods, perfect for fans of Natasha Preston and Karen McManus.

While on a mandatory hike in the woods, a flash flood cuts off Sera and three classmates from their group with no way to call for help. But they're not as alone as they thought…

Someone is stalking them through the woods—drugging them, stealing their supplies, and inking words onto their skin. Damaged. Deceptive. Dangerous. Darling. Are they labels? A warning? As their hunter grows bolder, Sera must find the truth before the killer finds them.

Amazing and Suspenseful Read!!

One Was Lost was my first experience with any of Natalie Richards’s works and I must say, I was extremely pleased. I could not put this book down once I started because Natalie Richards had me on the edge of my seat the entire way through Sera’s story.

There are so many things I want to say about One Was Lost, but I don’t want to spoil it for those of you who have not yet read the book.

My family is big into camping, so I have a lot of experience in the woods and typically feel very comfortable. After reading One Was Lost, I may be looking over my shoulder during my next camping trip. This book had me constantly guessing at what was going to happen next and what or who could possibly be hiding in the woods.

Besides the edge-of-your-seat suspense that this story is made of, there is also some history and romance going on between Sera and Lucas. To be honest, I was pulling for Lucas from the very beginning. It is obvious that Sera cares for him, but is hesitant to allow herself anything that could possibly contain real feelings out of the fear that she will turn into her mother.

All of the characters in this story are so easy to relate to, but at the same time you are constantly guessing at what secrets they are holding back. And then that plot twist at the end…HOLY COW! I won’t say anything more, so as not to ruin the suspe
