Ahead of the Darkness & Out of the Darkness
These made a wonderful, well-written story, and a beautiful read.
I have always been an avid reader, and since retiring, I’m even worse.
I get aggravated when I’m supposed to buy a second book to finish a story I’m reading, so I NEVER do even though I hate not knowing how it all works out. I also put the author on my DO NOT READ LIST. This time,however, I had no choice. I can’t even really explain why.
I didn’t hesitate for long in deciding to go for this one. My Scots ancestry and the adorable every-girl’s-dream Drew and independent, resourceful Mia no doubt had something to do with it, but the story and the writing just wouldn’t let me go.
And it wasn’t even a mystery! (My very favorite genre!)

Out of the Darkness
Wonderful book. I love this author. Everything she writes is great. This is book 2 and I had to read it to finish the story. So glad I did I couldn't wait to see how it ended.
