Photoshop Professor Notes - Volume 2
Understanding Selections and the Selection Tools
This book is available for download with iBooks on your Mac or iOS device. Multi-touch books can be read with iBooks on your Mac or iOS device. Books with interactive features may work best on an iOS device. iBooks on your Mac requires OS X 10.9 or later.
In this second volume, volume 2 of 5, "Understanding Selections and the Selection Tools", I discuss how the various selection tools work and how to modify your selections once they have been made in order to achieve believable results.
I have developed this series over many years of teaching at both the College and University levels in a variety of departments including the Multimedia Program, Graphic Design Program, the Fashion Program, and the Creative Photography Programs both daytime and evening diploma and certificate programs. This series starts right at the very beginning assuming that the learner has no experience in the application.
If you have ever wanted to learn Photoshop from the ground up, so to speak, then this is the best starting point. Have you ever worked on your images only to find that they do not look right once you have either sent them to friends via email or uploaded then on-line to image galleries.
There is a reason for that happening and you will learn how to control these issues in this Photoshop series.
