Krisa Elyison is a bride-to-be—bought and paid for by a stuffy aristocrat. Though she secretly longs for just one adventure all on her own, she knows the reality of her life—she is destined to be the wife of the elderly and pompous Lord Radisson.
Kurt Teague is a prisoner—a galactic criminal wanted for multiple murders. He is also Feral, a proud and savage people known for their indomitable wills to survive and their fiercely possessive natures. His tortured past has turned him into a ruthless killer—an unthinkable fate to the innocent, sheltered Krisa.
Resigned to her destiny, Krisa boards the starship that will take her to another planet and her loveless marriage. In the cargo hold, she stumbles across Teague—so fierce a prisoner he’s blindfolded and chained to a wall. Even so, her heart jumps at the sound of his deep, gravely voice.
When the ship crashes onto an uncharted jungle planet, Krisa has no choice but to trust the menacing convict with both her virginity and her life. Yet, on a world filled with ravenous telepathic beasts and cannibalistic natives…Krisa discovers that the gorgeous and mysterious Teague may be the most dangerous animal of all.
***Planet X contains the first two chapters of Kindred 19, Uncharted, as a BONUS***
Addition to my Kindred addiction.
After finishing all of the Kindred Bride books, which have become an addiction, I just had to read this next.
And I was not disappointed.
I loved the adventure that came with this book, I was never bored when reading it. It kept me on my toes, and wanting to read on to find out what came next.
Also, the sex was great too, because we cannot forget to mention that 😜
Another fantastic read from Evangeline Anderson! I fell in love with Teague and Krisa and loved their story (but I don't think anything can beat the Kindred though LOL). Once their ship crashed, it was onto an adventure that kept me on my toes (as well as on the edge of my seat at times) and some steamy times as well. I love how things ended up, even though I was worried there for a while.
Krisa has been on "Bride Planet" since she was 13, against her late mothers wishes, learning how to be a "proper" wife. She was bought immediately after arriving and has just become of age to join her husband-to-be. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately), the ship she was traveling on has crashed into Planet X and the only people that was left awake was a creepy royal guard captain and a murderer. Who does she take her chances with? The one that's been convicted of multiple murders, or the captain that wants to rape her?
Teague first killed to get revenge for his mate that was raped by their owner while he was locked up. He has had to kill a few times since then, and has been captured to be taken back to prison where he's already escaped from once. While being shackled and blindfolded on the ship, he smells Krisa before ever seeing her and wants her for his own. He never thought that he'd feel that way again after his mate was gone. Now all he has to do is keep them both safe from the wildlife on Planet X, find a way to help her get the chip removed, and convince her that she should just be herself instead of the robot that they have trained her to be on Bride Planet.
I definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves romance, adventure, sci-fi, and hotter than hadies hunky alien men especially. I voluntarily received and reviewed an ARC from the author.
Ok not great
Ending was disappointing almost like the author met the minimum word requirement...storyline faltered in the end. Everyone loves a true happy ending and I felt I was robbed of that in the ending
