PLAY FAIR . . . OR PLAY TO WIN?
Falling in love with polar-opposite men was an intoxicating ride that nearly ended Sage Reese's life. Now it's time for Sage to decide: Parker, the clean-cut, filthy-rich business magnate . . . or Ryker, the tough-as-nails undercover detective. Her choice? Neither. Because she can't stand the thought of coming between two brothers-in-arms finally trying to repair their friendship.
Yet not everyone feels the same way, including a mysterious woman who's come to Ryker and Parker for help. Sage knows firsthand how hard it is for the two former Marines to resist a damsel in distress. But something just doesn't feel right.
Now there's a danger closing in that only Sage can see, and she intends to do everything she can to protect Parker and Ryker-even at the risk of losing them both . . .
Play To Win
I really enjoyed the suspense and twist & turns in this book. I would think I had things figured out, and then there would be turn that I never saw coming.
Going in, I liked both Ryker and Parker, this book made me like both of the men even more. I enjoyed seeing how Sage has grown as a woman over the series, although there were time I wanted to slap her and say "What are you doing?". I think she chose the man that is perfect for her and I was happy that both men had a traditional HEA.
Loved this book!
Tiffany Snow has always been one of my favorite writers. She wrote the book boyfriend that remains at the top of my list to this day-Blane Kirk. She has a way of writing characters in such a way that you become emotionally attached. Trust me, I'm still licking my wounds over how the Kathleen Turner series, which broke my heart. So I was reluctant to get emotionally attached to another love triangle. But, this series and these characters were hard to resist.
Sage Reese is a plucky heroine that can frustrate you one moment and have you saying "Go on, girl!"'the next. She has a problem most women would die for--two great but different men love her. Who will she choose? Over this series, we've seen her fall for both men but the connection with one just can't be denied.
I loved the chemistry between the three leads and that just blooms in this last book. A face from the past throws a big wrench in the triangle and the twists and turns had me not wanting to put the book down.
In the end, Sage does make a choice and it was far and away the right one. I absolutely loved this series and hate that it's only three books.
