The chapter on depression really was helpful.
This book is a nice blend of Bible study, personal testimony, and application of scripture to our prayers. I have used scriptures in my prayers often to remind myself, not God, of God’s will, God’s plans, God’s love for me. But fashioning a prayer from a scripture, that was a step further, and I found it comforting and enlightening, and I will continue to do that as I read my Bible.
Educational and enjoyable
I recently completed a course on Leading in Prayer. One of the things it recommended was praying the scripture. However, the examples given were few and there was no information on making them personal. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to others.
Best book I have ever read on Bondage and Spiritual Warfare!
This is my 1st book from this author and I love her. She is so gifted in explaining so many things I either forgot or never understood about God's Plan for us and reminding me how the enemy works to deceive us. I love how she has listed scripture and prayers for each chapter and topic. I've seen this before but never this enthusiastic and it has been awhile since I've read a book and felt prayer working while I'm still reading the book. Thank you Beth for loving Jesus and us enough to share your talents!!! You saved my life!!
