Welcome to Panic, a sultry Miami nightclub where bodies and hearts move to a beat that doesn’t stop at sunrise—the setting for “a magnificent story full of deep emotion” (Sawyer Bennett).
Katherine: I thought I could enjoy a night out like a normal person. I thought I could handle the flashing lights, the pulsing music, the crowded dance floor. I couldn’t have been more wrong. After having an anxiety attack and passing out during my sister’s engagement party at Panic, I wake up in the arms of the hottest guy I’ve ever seen. Nick Moreno’s no gentleman. But he might just be the man I need to help me take control of my life.
Nick: When I hear there’s some random girl passed out in the back room of my family’s South Beach nightclub, I’m pissed. My dad’s already behind bars and we can’t afford any more bad press. But after giving her a lift—literally—back to her apartment, I stop seeing Katherine Wilson as some random girl. She’s gorgeous, vulnerable, and braver than she knows. And when we kiss, all I want to do is pull her close and promise that she’ll always be safe in my arms.

Heartbreaking but filled with strenght
**I received an ARC, in exchange for an honest review**
Pull Me Close, is such a heartbreaking story. But filled with so much strength.
Katherine, is suffering from extreme anxiety. Due to a horrific situation that she endured. She meets Nick randomly. First he thinks she’s on something and doesn’t understand the severity of it. But once he does. Everything changes.
The writing was really great. It drew me into the story. I don’t know why, but I didn’t connect to the characters themselves. But anyone can relate to the situation. One that changes you forever. Just cause I didn’t connect, doesn’t meant I didn’t like the characters. Katherine really grew and changed through out the story. She was able to work on these never ending fears. With the help of Nico. I think, honestly, that Nico was meant to be there at that moment.
There were some steamy moments, but there was all the other real life moments as well. I enjoyed this, even with the difficult theme. The fears that controlled her. I loved to watch her grow. I think that’s what I loved most about this story, Is this is a real thing and Halston really wrote this so well. You are able to put yourself in the moment.
Overall, I give Pull Me Close, Four Boundless Stars. I’m interested to see what happens next in this series...Lissa
WOW...this is a powerful emotional roller coaster of a story and these characters stayed with me for days after I finished reading it. The bravery and determination displayed by Katherine gripped my heart. She's a young woman dealing with debilitating anxiety issues but her determination to overcome these issues and live life is a thing of beauty. Watching Nico's gruff hardened exterior crumble as he really got to know Katherine was also heartwarming. The kindness he shows her and the care he takes with her brought tears to my eyes. The author did an amazing job with this story and the delicate subject matter that it tackles. I could almost feel Katherine's emotions through the pages. If your looking for an emotionally charged but upbeat book, look no further. This one is for you!
Put this one high on the must read list!! I highly recommend it.
Read this book!
Wow! This was a awesome book. I'm not really sure if I can put into words everything I feel about it and I'm sure I won't do it justice. Just thinking of the emotions in it brings tears to my eyes. So before you read this just know You've Got To Read This Book! There are highs and lows, happiness and such deep sadness it's heartbreaking. There's off the charts sexual tension and sheet burning sex that will...well let's just say Wow! The witty banter between Nico and Katherine at times was laugh out loud funny. I've read several books by Sidney Halston and this is the best so far a defiant read!
Nico and Katherine meet at Nico's and his brother Matt's club "Panic" and it couldn't be at a worse moment. Katherine is well in the depths of a terrible panic attack and has just passed out. All Nico sees is another beautiful woman who's a junkie, but not wanting to call the police again he reluctantly takes her home. No matter what Katherine says about her having a panic attack every time Nico sees her she shows all the signs of being a junkie and he should know his ex was one. Something about Nico gets to Katherine and she must convince him she's not a junkie and that she has a debilitating condition, agoraphobia. Neither Nico nor Katherine can get the other out of their head and want to get to know each other but Nico's life is lived outside and Katherine is confined to a 800 square foot apartment. Katherine desperately want to get better. With Nico's help she makes great strides but will it be enough?
