The Colton Points of View Collection
From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author K. Bromberg comes a companion novella to the best selling Driven Trilogy (Driven, Fueled, and Crashed). This novella is a compilation of reader requested scenes from the series retold through the eyes of Colton Donavan.
Colton Donavan lived life in the fast lane, but it took Rylee Thomas to teach him what racing was all about.
You think you know me?
*Raced is not a complete re-write of the Driven Trilogy. This companion explores pivotal scenes as well as some new ones written in Colton Donavan’s point of view that were not previously published in Driven, Fueled, and Crashed. Hear his thoughts, experience his inner-turmoil, and laugh with him on his journey as he overcomes his demons and accepts what it means to love.
This novella is for the devoted readers of the Driven series. It is recommended that this companion be read after Driven, Fueled, and Crashed.
Love this series and I had been waiting for Colton's point of view. I can't wait until beck's story.
Loved the recap from all 3 stories. Kim has achieved great success with Colton.
It's sassy and feisty. K. Bromberg has a way with words. She writes with the ability to drag me into the story. I feel like I am Rylee and feeling every emotion she has. I love how Colton unravels when he thought he had complete control of his game.
Love the trip down memory lane, reliving each salacious moment from Driven, Fueled, and Crashed. Colton and Rylee will always be a fan favorite. Nobody else has yet to be able to top this race car driver romance. I'm glad. Let those other authors learn from the master.
I love the turmoil that goes on inside Colton's head trying to make sense why he is breaking all his rules to be with Rylee. The great thing is that Rylee is not trying to play a game with Colton. She has her doubts because of her past relationship. It just so happens to work in her favor to get Colton riled up. The irony is that Rylee has no idea she is affecting Colton in this way.
I forgot how much passion and anger came out of Fueled. Rylee and Colton were a force to be reckoned with. The internal battle inside Colton's head was intense. Haddie and Beck playing referee to there quarrels.
I love how Rylee pushes Colton's walls down. He's breaking and giving and she is his undoing. Colton is so good at hurting Rylee that when Rylee turns the table on him he does not know how to handle it. A lot of drama in that book. It was a challenging read. I had to put it down several times. It was toxic.
I loved in Crashed when Colton lets his guard down and opens his heart to Rylee. My heart breaks for Colton for finally giving in to the demons that have haunted his soul. I love all the racing innuendos that Rylee and Colton use when talking dirty to one another. I like how they push each other's limits. With each wall of fear that Colton breaks down he has to take a step back to reevaluate his fear. Colton has to compose himself before re-claiming Rylee to make sure she can handle his damaged soul. Getting back in that race car for Colton is more than chasing the demons for his fear of being back in the car it's also for all the fears in his past as well.
Great recap of all the best moments from all three stories. Fun and quick read.
