Rangs est une publication numérique de l’artiste Mériol Lehmann. À partir de courts textes, de dessins, mais surtout de plus d’une centaine de photographies réalisées durant ces dernières années, il documente sa relation avec le territoire rural québécois. Alors que ce territoire subit d’importants bouleversements dus à l’évolution de l’agriculture, les citadins ont tendance à conserver une vision idyllique de la campagne. Plus lucide, l’artiste cherche les repères l’ayant marqué durant son adolescence vécue sur une ferme du Lac-Saint-Jean, mais ne fait que constater l’effritement des fermes laitières familiales au profit d’une agriculture de plus en plus industrielle et démesurée.
