What a Ride!
Rebel Heart is the second book in the Rush duet by one of my favorite duets! I love Vi Keeland’s and Penelope Ward’s books individually but together? It’s f- magical. They give me all the feels and more. I am going to make this short and sweet so I don’t spoil anything. I will say that if you haven’t read Rebel Heir...do that now. This is not a standalone. At all.
Rebel Heart starts exactly where Rebel Heir ended. In an oh, f- moment. And in that moment, Gia knew her life along with Rush’s was going to be a lot more complicated. It was time to meet a challenge of a lifetime. Will their love be enough to get them through it or will it shatter the love that they felt?
Yeah. I can’t get too much into it. I will say that their story is full of angst, love, hurt, questioning, and emotions. I feel for both of them. I felt like I was right there wanting to give them hugs. It’s not an easy ride for them in the challenging, complicated, and soul-searching.
Overall...I was invested from the very first sentence until the very last. I cried. I laughed. I got angry. I felt sad. I felt it all. This is one rollercoaster ride of emotions you do not want to miss. The characters are stronger than they think. More beautiful than ever. And I fell in love with them all over again.
P.S I ❤️ Tony!
“You stealing my moves, Mirabelli? Isn’t that copyright infringement?”
“Nope. You gave them to me. They’re my moves now.” She winked.
This s- was better than a Jerry Springer episode.
“You and your daughter have a sick sense of humor sometimes.”
This poignant novel continues the story of Rush and Gia. The twist and turns in their relationship test the limits of faith, hope and love. The story made me laugh and cry as the couple work against all odds to become one. Thank you Penelope and Vi for sharing your talent with us.
The absolute perfect conclusion to the Rush Series Duet. I was waiting anxiously for this book after reading the ending of Rebel Heir (book 1). Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward certainly kept me up all night reading this book. As the the pages were read, so did my anxiety. Rush and Gia continued to win my heart all over again and even more. My goodness, without a doubt my favorite co-hero and heroine from these ladies. Rush was perfection in every aspect. For me this is a hard review to write because I absolutely do not want to spoil anything and it is very hard to go into the story without doing so. These characters own my heart and I was sooo thrilled with the ending they got. I will miss you Rush and Gia!
