It took one night with her to know she was my forever.
It took one minute for me to climb out of bed and drive away from her.
It’s taken me three years to confess that leaving her behind was the biggest mistake of my life.
I won’t stop until she knows what she means to me. I’ll convince her to listen to her heart.
It took one night for all of my dreams to come true.
It took one morning, waking up alone, for those same dreams to come crashing down around me.
It’s taken me three years to confess that night changed me forever.
He says this time is different, but how do I open my heart up to a man who’s already ripped it to shreds?
So many emotions going on right now that it's hard to put into words how much I love this book. Grady and Collins show everyone just how perfect it can be.
Grady and Collins have a past that could create issues for lots of people. How things started out for them want wrong by any means, but I get the hesitation. I really do. But of course, the drama in books are mostly drawn up by a lack of communication, and this book is no different. I'm not getting into the issues as that will give a lot of the book away, but it's definitely worth reading.
I voluntarily reviewed this book from the author. I truly would read any book from her, but I'm so glad I was able to read this now, because it's a must read!
Sweet and charming second chance romance!
Remedy by Kaylee Ryan such sweet second chance romance. Grady Carmichael and Collins had one amazing night together. They both agree on that fact, but Grady could not get away fast enough. Now three years later he is ready to show Collins how he has changed and is the man for her. But is she ready to forgive and let him in?
I loved how Grady stepped up and could admit his mistakes. He was caring and protective and easy to like. Collins was sweet and also very likeable, but not too forgiving. She needed to protect her heart after all. This was a slow burn romance with all the right feels. Not everything was perfect all the time, but the characters worked for it and just made you feel good while reading.
A must read!
Only Kaylee Ryan could make me love one of my biggest pet peeves. She has this way of writing characters so beautiful it’s impossible to not fall in love with them and that’s exactly what she did with Remedy. I’m not going to lie, at first I thought Collins was going to drive me insane. The hot and cold she had with Grady is something that typically makes me want to rip my hair out, but between the extremely understandable reasons she had and the fact she really is a person you can’t help but adore I found myself self saying “make him work for it!” more than I found myself saying “give the man a break.” which is a total first for me!
On top of that Collins’ reluctance, more than just being completely understandable, showed Grady in a light that I don’t think could have been shown any other way. This man truly proves how deep his love runs for her in ways that will have you swooning left and right. Their story is the perfect mixture of sweet, hot, and just a bit of angst that will have you glued to every page. I could have read these two endlessly and been happy.
