How to open up the museum for young people? The Visitor Services and Learning Department at the cultural institution Brandts, that comprises two museums and an art hall, has during the last couple of years been working intensively with young people. With this work Brandts has experienced both quantitative and qualitative success in the attempts to attract the under-30s. The point of reference is two extensive user studies done in collaboration with the analysis company Anex ApS with funding from The Danish Agency for Culture. This report presents a detailed examination of the strategy and action plan focusing on opening up the institution for a younger audience.
