This book is available for download with Apple Books on your Mac or iOS device. Multi-touch books can be read with Apple Books on your Mac or iOS device. Books with interactive features may work best on an iOS device. Apple Books on your Mac requires OS X 10.9 or later.

More than just captivating post–apocalyptic fiction of the world in "The Realm" of the Vampire, RISE OF THE CAFE RACER is a novel with an accompanying 12 song Soundtrack, hand drawn maps and 84 illustrations all created by the first time author/musician Deano Jones.

It's the first book of it's kind anywhere and truly creates a vivid and cinematic experience that leaves the reader with a sense of having visited another world.

ROTCF is set 1089 years in the future, after Vampires have hunted humans to extinction. Without human blood to feed on Vampires have no super natural powers – just a High Council that dictates their lives. But when the Pike's Run returns – a motorcycle race that only happens once every 121 years – there's finally a chance to dream, a chance to live for the moment, and a chance for an ordinary person to become… KING OF THE UNDEAD.

With songs written from the perspective of characters, dozens of brilliant images and an incredibly detailed world, full of intriguing story arcs that crash together perfectly – Rise of the Cafe Racer is at once a modern classic.

Awesome Book + Album + Artwork

Rise of the Cafe Racer is a well organized, carefully thought out, post-apocalyptic vampire story, featuring unconventional, yet multidimensional characters, and a theme of living in the moment. From page one the reader is thrust into the lives of the "vamps" in "The Realm" and the action and story continues to flow throughout. You will be rooting for Sonny throughout the book. The author's subtle sense of humor also provides the reader with some good laughs too.

In addition to a fun story, there are hundreds of detailed illustrations (and some killer posters) which correspond to the story and look awesome on your e-reader. The images really pop and set a dark mood for "the Realm." To keep up with all of the interesting characters and locations throughout the story, the author has also provided detailed maps and a character index to help readers easily follow along.

Most importantly, the book contains an awesome rock soundtrack (written and sung by the author) that pops up as you read along with the story. Very innovative. The music is anthemic, with catchy melodies, and will absolutely have you singing along. (Love "Sweet Death Symphony")

The author is super talented and he shows it in Rise of the Cafe Racer. A great story, beautiful images, and a rock soundtrack to listen to as you read. This is a fun read, with great cross-over appeal to a non-fantasy, general fiction reading audience. Book + Album + Artwork makes this an awesome deal to boot.

Loved it!

Very original, very entertaining. I particularly loved the music files embedded in the body of the book for a multimedia experience, and the artwork was sensational. Enjoyed it enormously. Can't wait for the follow up!
