Enter the Grishaverse with Book Three of the Shadow and Bone Trilogy by the #1 New York Times–bestselling author of Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom.
Soldier. Summoner. Saint. The nation’s fate rests with a broken Sun Summoner, a disgraced tracker, and the shattered remnants of a once-great magical army.
The Darkling rules from his shadow throne while a weakened Alina Starkov recovers from their battle under the dubious protection of the zealots who worship her as a Saint. Now her hopes lie with the magic of a long-vanished ancient creature and the chance that an outlaw prince still survives.
As her allies and enemies race toward war, only Alina stands between her country and a rising tide of darkness that could destroy the world. To win this fight, she must seize a legend’s power—but claiming the firebird may be her ruin.

I could not stop reading this wonderful closer to one of the best series I have read in quite a while. Leigh Bardugo has such a talent at making each of her characters real and distinct and you grow so attached to them with their charm and wit. I love Alina as a protagonist who battles very human struggles while also carrying the weight of the world. Alina's friends are fantastic and make the story so powerful. I am so happy with how she ended the book and provided a compelling and satisfying resolution. Fantastic book.
Some stories you forget when you grow up, but some stay with you forever. I know I'll remember every page of this beautiful book as long as I live.
And that was how it all ended, guys.
If you aren't prepared to be angered, excited, frustrated, gloriously sated from the ending of this novel - then steady yourself. You're on for a bumpy ride. Good luck and enjoy.
