Book 2, The Blackhawk Boys
This book can be downloaded and read in Apple Books on your Mac or iOS device.
In the football world, quarterback Christopher Montgomery is known for his cool-headedness, his determination, and his steely self-control. He’s about to meet his match.
I would do anything to help out my mother, including taking in a stranger for the summer.
I’ve never met Grace Lee, but Mom tells me she’s a quiet and artsy college student with a troubled past. When I agreed to let her stay with me, I expected to share my apartment with a sullen girl who’d spend hours locked in her room.
As the quarterback leading my team to victory, I’m known for keeping a level head under pressure. I didn’t anticipate a walking fantasy determined to make me lose my cool.
I didn’t expect a woman with secrets so dark, so deep, I’d throw away everything if it would save her from the past.
Rushing in to do this favor is turning my life upside down. Keep her out of trouble? Grace is the trouble. And I want in.

So far my favorite of the three out. Grace made me cry at so many moments. Her problems are relatable. Chris is a realistic guy and down to earth and great book boyfriend. Loved.
It really not a Lexi Ryan book
I didn't like it at all. I'm usually hook after a chapter but I wasn't with this book. I miss her old writing
Sexy Minnie Mouse!!!!! Addictive Read
I couldn't put my iPad down! The attraction between Chris and Grace was refreshing. They both possessed deep insecurities, but their souls connected in such a way they were able to comfort each other's insecurities. Grace had more personal ghosts to deal with, but Chris had such a calming persona she had no alternative, but too finally surrender. Their lifeline of friends are their for them all the way through all the twists and turns.
