In the football world, quarterback Christopher Montgomery is known for his cool-headedness, his determination, and his steely self-control. He’s about to meet his match.
The favor seemed simple: Keep my new stepsister out of trouble for one summer.
I’ve never met Grace Lee, but Mom tells me she’s a quiet and artsy college student with a troubled past. When I agreed to let her stay with me, I thought it was no big deal. I expected to share my apartment with a sullen girl who’d spend hours locked in her room.
I didn’t expect a walking fantasy determined to make me lose my cool.
I didn’t expect a woman with secrets so dark, so deep, I’d throw away everything if it would save her from the past.
Rushing in to do this favor is turning my life upside down—and not just because Grace needs her ass spanked. Keep her out of trouble? Grace is the trouble. And I want in.
RUSHING IN is a standalone novel and the second in The Blackhawk Boys series.
Football. Secrets. Lies. Passion. These boys don’t play fair. Which Blackhawk Boy will steal your heart?

It really not a Lexi Ryan book
I didn't like it at all. I'm usually hook after a chapter but I wasn't with this book. I miss her old writing
Rush and one click Rushing In
Rushing In is another book by Author Lexi Ryan that makes you wish the characters were real life people that you could meet and be friends with!
Grace and Chris are about to become step brother and sister. They have met before in high school. She remembers him and he doesn't recall her. This is not a typical cookie cutter step brother romance. This is an exceptional, well written romance.
Grace is a girl that made mistakes out of insecurity and hope for acceptance. She is a good person who made some bad choices.
Chris is an all American good guy. He is the kind of guy I would want my daughter to end up with for her own HEA.
Their attraction to each other is off the charts! She is afraid and he wants her as his girl. Outside forces aim to pull them apart.
Will they admit their love for each other and will it survive her past and their present?
I’m never disappointed with Lexi Ryan’s books!! Rush In was such a fun story to read. Chris and Grace are soon to become step-brother/step-sister and neither one of them knows how to handle the emotions running wild between them. Chris has been asked by Grace’s father to keep an eye on Grace. She is always finding trouble to get into. He doesn’t want to let her dad and his mom down so he allows her stay with him while he is away on their extended honeymoon. Neither Chris nor Grace want to upset their parents so they cancel the honeymoon so they make it work. Oh boy!! No spoilers here…you just need to read this great book!
