Saved at Sunrise

A Shadow Falls Novella

This book can be downloaded and read in iBooks on your Mac or iOS device.

Description

From C. C. Hunter, the bestselling author of the Shadow Falls series, comes Saved at Sunrise, an unforgettable new e-original novella.

Nestled deep in the woods, Shadow Falls is a secret camp where teens with supernatural powers learn to harness their abilities and live in the normal world.  But Shadow Falls is facing a problem that could finally expose them to the rest of the world.  Humans are showing up dead, and rogue vampires may be to blame.

Camp resident Della Tsang, who’s still coming into her own vampire powers, is assigned to help find those responsible. If she succeeds, maybe she’ll even land her dream job: working for the F.R.U., the enforcers of the supernatural world.  But when she sees that her new partner is a hunky shapeshifter, things get complicated.  Steve, too gorgeous to be trusted and capable of seeing through her tough-as-nails exterior, knows just how to get under her skin.  And only hours into the mission, Della realizes rogue vampires aren’t the only threat she’s facing. If she’s ever going to complete her assignment, she’ll need his help…but learning to trust him will be her hardest challenge yet.

Amazing

Amazing as always & never want it to end

Saved at Sunrise

I always admired Della's spunky character in the Shadow Falls series. I was happy when I saw that C.C. Hunter was going to write a short series on Della's life. When I read Turned at Dark I was sad that it was so short, but it was nice to know how Della came to be a vampire and the life she left behind, and how she came to Shadow Falls Camp. After I read Turned at Dark I was dying to know more about Della. When I heard Saved at Sunrise was going to come out on April 2, I couldn't wait, and it was worth the wait. Saved at Sunrise takes place right after Kylie leaves Shadow Falls after her temporarly failed relationship with Lucas, and Della is sent on a mission to investigate a vampire gang with the help of Steve. Mainly this story focuses on Della and Steve's growing relationship even though Della tries not to fall for him after her heart was broken by her ex-boyfriend, Lee whome tells Della in Turned at Dark that he doesn't want to touch Della until she is warm again. Lee thinks Della is sick, but little does he know that Della has recently turned into a vampire. Della is left heart broken and immediately puts up walls around her heart so no one can get passed them, but slowly but surely Steve breaks down those walls. Della finds her feelings growing towards the shape-shifter and is scared to dwell on them. Saved at Sunrise may be be a really short book, but it's strong no madder its length. If your a fan of Born at Midnight or any of the other books in the series, and you admire Della's character and want to know more about her, this book is perfect to read. Can't wait till Chosen at Nightfall comes out on April 23!
