All the feels for One Night! Whether you've followed the Stark books or not, One Night can be read independently. Penny and Blake shared one night together. Will too much time apart make for a bitter reunion?
Julie's writing is always so much fun to read. Her Stark World short story is filled with amazing descriptive writing and steamy sexy time.
An outstanding read!
One Night is NOT Nearly Enough!
***Review for One Night by J. Kenner***
Can a true connection occur in one night?
Can a matter of hours create something worth risking everything for?
These are the questions J Kenner tries to answer in her newest short story set in the Stark World. And while readers only get a small glimpse into the chemistry between Penny and Blake, it's clear that what developed between them in one stolen night can only grow as long as they're both willing to take a risk on one another.
One Night is a short and steamy second chance story that illustrates how fate sometimes steps in when someone needs a little guidance and direction and while there's minimal character development and background about Penny and Blake, what the story does is give readers hope that one's ability to get back something precious and life changing can occur when it's least expected.
I'd love to read more about Penny and Blake's one night together and what they're doing now that Penny's given herself to Blake. Any story in the Stark world has my interest and the passion that exists between Penny and Blake would absolutely be a worthwhile read!

One Night ~Second Chances a Romantic Writers of America anthology J Kenner
The ONLY negative thing I can say about One Night is it's too short...I want more! Blake is really giving Damien and Jackson some stiff competition...he may have already passed Lyle up as well. I love these men in Stark World.
“Sometimes you have the chance to get back the things you lost.” There’s a low, sensual quality to his voice that I recognize, that seems to vibrate through me like a low roll of thunder. He takes a step toward me. “I guess this time I got lucky.”
For such a short story this read gives you so much~yet leaves you wanting so much as well. I'm hoping this is just a glimpse into Blake and we will get a second (and third) chance to see how much or little control he really has over Pen.
