FROM THE #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF GONE GIRL
Fresh from a brief stay at a psych hospital, reporter Camille Preaker faces a troubling assignment: she must return to her tiny hometown to cover the murders of two preteen girls. For years, Camille has hardly spoken to her neurotic, hypochondriac mother or to the half-sister she barely knows: a beautiful thirteen-year-old with an eerie grip on the town. Now, installed in her old bedroom in her family's Victorian mansion, Camille finds herself identifying with the young victims—a bit too strongly. Dogged by her own demons, she must unravel the psychological puzzle of her own past if she wants to get the story—and survive this homecoming.

Her earlier work, but still good
I have read all 3 if Gillian Flynn's books available on iTunes, and although this one was probably my least favorite, that doesn't mean it isn't good.....it's just that Gone Girl and Dark Places are really, REALLY good. I'd give Sharp Objects a 6, Dark Places a 7 1/2 and Gone Girl a 9. Gillian Flynn just keeps improving THAT much from book to book. This book is a shorter novel than I prefer, and it definitely has some character plots that go undefined, but, all in all, a great read. Now go read Gone Girl!
Great read and very well written.
Fast and interesting read
Quick and easy read. A bit morbid, but definitely interesting.
