Give the gift of terror!
You would have thought that one terrifying holiday season would have taught Reva Dalby a lesson. But this is one rich, spoiled, selfish girl who still thinks she can have anything—or ANYONE—she wants without there ever being any consequences. Unfortunately, she couldn’t be more wrong! Someone is out to kidnap her. After they have her in their clutches, they intend to give her the deadliest, most terrifying Christmas gift of all... murder! The only downside to this deliciously creepy sequel is that R.L. Stine reveals the identity of the kidnappers and their motives way too early. And, yes, you read that right: There is more than one kidnapper. I usually hate to provide spoilers in these reviews, but since you will know who the villains are, almost right from the beginning, there’s no harm in letting you know that there is more than one, even though that, of course, is NOT a downside to the story. Besides, even with the early revelation of the kidnappers’ identities and their motives, plus the story having a few more plot twists than necessary, it doesn’t keep this book from being a scary, suspenseful tale that builds to a tense, disturbing climax! I read this book before I read the original, which is a better book, but I highly recommend this blood-boiler to fans who want another scary Christmas from R.L. Stine!
Great thriller
I liked the story line. The two points of view was very interesting. Also the fact that there is two sides to reva. The loving sister and daughter reva, and evil, mean reva. Too many twist thought. I have to admit it could have been better.
