Addictive!!!
I caught stop reading this series! The mating habits of these Kindred aliens with Earth women (who knew I would ever write that sentence) that pleasure their mates so happily and differently, wow. Book number THREE is about twins that come as a “package” when it comes to couples. Twins that are opposites of each other, so you get the good and the bad all wrapped up on one relationship, plus having them “mate” you both at once? Poor Earth girls would be petrified to be taken by both then add the insecurities of plus size women who for them are goddesses, this is one helluva a good reading. Promise you, definitely a HEA or two, plus you’ll die laughing at “Earth’s ventricular sayings”. Addictive!!
This series has taken over my life!
This is the third book the this amazing series. And it's been just as good as the other two. I love how we get to go back sometimes to the other characters and see how they're doing.
This story follows Kat, who I love and is a strong character, and the two Twin Kindred, Deep and Lock.
I won't go into too much of this story, you'll just have to find out for yourself. But this have you everything you could ask for in a book.
Times where you'd laugh, times where you'd cry, and times where you'd just want to strangle the characters. But in a good book way.
Kat is by far one of my favorites in this series. And now I will be buying the next book and continuing on with the story.
Review
I like the premise of the series as a whole, however, there are things that could be changed.
All of the books in the series drag on and on and on. There are lots of unnecessary and repetitive scenes. The books get to the point where you just want it to end already and get to the happily ever after.
Kat has to be my least favorite character in this whole series. She acts like an immature bratty spoiled rotten nasty stubborn teenager, who takes no responsibility for her words or actions. Kat loves playing the victim role. She blames EVERYTHING on Deep. Deep is dealing with some recent deep emotional scars. Kat doesn’t bother to try to dig deeper with Deep to see if there is a reason for his behavior.
If the author was trying to make Kat come across as a strong woman, it was an EPIC fail!
All of that being said, I do love how the author keeps the previous characters in the storyline so that you can see their “life” plays out. That is one of my favorite things about the books.
