Excellent writing!
Mr. Ward has done an exceptional job weaving Star Trek history and historical events surrounding Earth culture. A must read!
Overwritten
I’m generally a fan of Mr. Ward’s books and I wanted to like this book because I’m a fan of the whole Gary Seven/Aegis stories but wow, what a slog to read. Clumsy dialogue coupled with clunky, descriptions and exposition.
This is an overwritten, verbose, bloated book that focuses more on describing minutiae than developing the characters and advancing the narrative. After 3 chapters I just couldn’t take anymore and had to stop and put it away.
