The thing that impressed me most about this book is that it doesn't just give a list of foods to eat or a specific exercise plan to follow, it approaches the subject of health and fitness from the perspective of someone who has made the transition from excellent physical specimen as a young man to grossly overweight middle aged man and back again to top notch physical condition, thanks to the principles he has set forth in this book. The book deals with personality, lifestyle, eating habits, and physical activity drawing upon a wide range of resources in the process. Having personally observed the author's physical transformation while following this program, I am fully convinced that he is onto something here that can be of great benefit to a great many people, myself included.
