SWING YOUR SWORD is the first ever book by one of the most fascinating and successful coaches in sports today. A lover of the game who started creating formations and drawing his own plays as a kid, Leach took his Texas Tech Red Raiders to numerous bowl games, achieving the #2 slot in national rankings and being voted 2008 Coach of the Year before being unceremoniously fired at the end of the 2009 season. The scandalous nature of his dismissal created a media frenzy and began a personal battle between Leach and his accusers that remains unresolved.
Tech is ill
Finally the true identity of the multiple cancers that have been eating away at our beloved university are revealed in this no nonsense memoir. Tech has proven their inability to handle success and took action to dismiss the man primarily responsible for bringing them so much of it. At one time I proudly represented my school (Tech) and would give all I could to it's coffers. I will NEVER give them another dime and will not purchase any paraphernalia from which they could profit. The ONLY potential remedy for what ails Tech is to immediately relieve Hance of his office. Until then, our credibility has been lost.
Insightful account of an interesting man
I greatly enjoyed Feldman and Leach's work on this book. It gave an interesting look into Leach's all-too-brief career. I hope he is back on the sidelines soon.
Swing your Sword
Fantastic. I see this book as a reference for Leadership. It translates to the business world because it focuses a team on preparation for excellent execution.
