Thoroughly engaging and entertaining
I just finished Sword Bearer and was disappointed that it had to end. I felt immersed in the world and delighted in the coming-of-age tale of young Anders. If I have any criticism, it is that the novel was a bit short - I love the epic fantasy genre and delight in the opus magnums that many authors produce. I definitely look forward to reading book two and continuing the journey of this young prince!

Sword Bearer
Loved the book! Like the development of the characters, looking forward to seeing more of the witches nephew as well as the baker. Wish it were longer.
