When Jenny Wright’s fiancé leaves her standing at the altar in a Vera Wang bridal gown she can’t afford, she’s humiliated and heartbroken. To have Marietta hero bull riding champ Colton Thorpe witness her shame – makes the rejection even more devastating.
Jenny and Colton grew up in the same rough neighborhood and they both left home right after school to pursue big dreams. Now they’re both back, with Colton as the celebrity chair for the 75th Copper Mountain Rodeo, and Jenny in disgrace.
Sexy, rugged Colton didn’t get to be a national champion by chance. He’s a man that takes risks and goes after what he wants. During the rodeo weekend, Colton makes it clear he wants Jenny. Flustered but flattered, Jenny finds it difficult to resist his charm.
But what happens when the rodeo ends and Colton leaves town? Will she dare to dream again?

Loved this book!
I loved loved this book! Marietta is a town just like my hometown, so it was very familiar and nostalgic. And I love me some cowboy stories!
cowboy saves the runaway bride
Jenny's been dumped by her fiancée, lost her job, and just about broke, but she's not a gold-digger. She's a self-made woman who came from nothing, but has risen above and tried to do right by her family--always doing for others. Standing on the corner in her wedding gown, a cowboy stops and offers her a ride.
Colton is the bad boy cowboy Jenny always had a crush on as a young teen, growing up down the street from him. He never noticed her, and doesn't realize who the jilted bride standing on the corner is, but he can't but want to help her. Having vowed to never marry again, falling in love is not on his list of things to do while in town for the rodeo.
Jenny and Colton discover what they thought of each other in the past, and how their lives would turn out in the future is nothing like the fireworks they're experiencing, as they spend more and more time together. What started as lust after heartbreak, turned into love, but can it be the type of love that lasts? Can they find a way to make a life, and a home in the hometown both abandoned?
Take Me, Cowboy is the next installment in the Copper Mountain Rodeo series by Montana Born books. It's another winner from acclaimed author Jane Porter!
