Thea Landry has always known her place in modern-day society. It’s somewhere just above the trash can her mother dumped her in as a newborn but below the class where much comes easy. With her tattered shoes and bargain-bin clothes, her life has never been full of glamour.
So when a rich and charismatic man takes interest, she doesn’t fool herself into thinking their encounter is anything more than a one-night stand. Months later, she’s kicking herself for not getting his phone number. Or his last name. She’s given up hope of seeing him ever again.
Until one day, years later, Logan Kendrick waltzes into her life once more and turns everything she’s built upside down. This time around, she won’t make the same mistake. She’s going to fight to keep him in her life—not for herself.
But for their daughter.
What an amazing heartfelt book. Devney continues to show her growth with every book she releases. This one is by far my favorite.
This book went to the top of my favorite Devney Perry book
What started as a one night stand that left Thea with a surprise one that took 6 years for Logan to learn about.
A beautiful story about dealing with the unexpected, finding what you’ve looked for all your life, realizing plans you made for your future aren’t always what life has planned for you and that’s not always a bad thing!
Devney Perry knows how to hook you on the first page and keeps you hooked until the last sentence. She’s definetly a one-click for me always!
This book just melted my heart. Being a single mom myself, this book held a bit more meaning for me as a reader. I'm not really surprised because this author truly has a gift for storytelling and she captivates me every time I open up one of her books.
Tattered is about an accidental pregnancy, single mom and a second chance story all rolled into one. The best part...it was due to no fault of either characters for the separation between father and child. You get to learn about these characters and love them with out being disappointed by anyone's actions.
On top of such a beautiful story, the setting the author describes to us about Lark Cove and all the small town characters pulls you right into this town as if you are living there yourself. I love when a book can do that. I read to get a break from real life and that's exactly what Tattered accomplished here.
This was truly a great start to a new series and I will try to wait patiently for the next Lark Cove couple to fall in love with. ARC provided by Author.
