TEQUILA + YOUR BEST FRIEND + YOUR BEDROOM = UM. WHOOPSIE?
Don’t sleep with your best friend.
Take it from me. I did it. And it was awful.
I-wish-the-tequila-made-me-forget kind of bad.
The problem is, Luke has forgotten. He swears that he can’t remember a thing about that night beyond the trays of tequila shots being set on the tables.
Except I can't forget. I can’t forget how good his hands felt until I fell over and hit my hip on the dresser, and I sure as hell can’t forget the entire two minutes of tap-tap-squirt.
Awkward. Embarrassing. And the new subject of a couple of dirty lucid dreams.
But I have no intention of telling him what we did. Nothing good comes from telling your best friend he’s the worst guy you’ve ever slept with.
Which makes the tequila on my birthday a very, very bad idea…
I just love this book! The relationship with Aspen and Luke is the best! I was sucked immediately. Emma Hart never disappoints. As always her female characters are independent and have sass.
Wow...Gee Wiz...Golly Wolly
Emma Hart has done it again! This story had me laughing out loud in public and getting the people around me to laugh without knowing what I was laughing at (Yes. I have one of those contagious laughs!). The storyline was perfect and kept you on your toes with trying to guess what crazy words or antics were going to happen next. Perfect read for someone who needs a good, full-bellied giggle.
Review: Tequila Tequila
Tequila Tequila by Emma Hart is her newest standalone contemporary romance release. A romance based on friendship and aided by tequila, this quirky humored, sarcastic, hilarious, and awkward story of two best friends will put a smile on your face from the first page to the last with quite a few laugh out loud moments in between.
Aspen and Luke have been best friends for over twenty years. But all that changes after one drunken night involving tequila, kissing and an awkward encounter in the bedroom. Both wake the next morning denying anything ever happened but are they telling the truth or do they both remember the terrible sex???
Keeping the peace may just mean denying it ever happened but when the way these two best friends look at each other now that their friendship blinders slipped loose could spell disaster for their current situation but all kinds of awesome for a new definition of best friends that includes romance.
Between a crazy flip-flop slapping abuelita and some other questionable friends can Luke and Aspen even stand a chance or will this rag tag group of family and friends be the ones to actually nudge them in the right direction? Loved this. Well-written and well-paced, Emma Hart just gets better and better with each release. Enjoy!
