Vi Harris tests every bit of my strength.
She is my own personal challenge.
She has the potential to make me weak at a time when I’m determined to show everyone just how bloody strong I am.
Yet somehow, she doesn’t see me as broken.
She sees me as the man I’m fighting so hard to be.
The man that I’m still struggling to see myself.
But resisting her is proving to be even more difficult than my past...

✦Reads Great As a Standalone✦
Beautiful and emotional!!!
Listen up bookies! That One Moment is a book you do NOT want to miss. I was sucked in from the poetic and haunting prologue and it held on like a vice grip until the beautiful Epilogue!
First...Hayden Hayden Hayden...I'm
Not sure I can do this beautiful man justice, but I shall try. His story was one of survival when life throws the worst kind of pain it can at you. It was a VERY emotional rollercoaster so full of heartache, angst, courage and fight, anger and pain, love and family, loss...hope. As gut wrenching as it was, it was also so beautiful and soulful.
The author takes us on this incredible and REAL
journey of coming back from something horrific and life altering and teaches us that even in the throws of self doubt and blame you are worthy and loved.
The main characters are thrown together and have this amazing and unique connection that neither of them thought could be. I felt every emotion you could possibly feel and these character are ones that will stick with me forever. Grab your tissues and blanket...and maybe wine and buckle up for an outstanding ride!
Amy Daws Best Book Yet-Touching, Hilarious & Much More
Having read Amy Daws preceding books and liking them all, I'm really awed at this book. I really loved Not The One, and I wasn't a Hayden fan per se, so it took me by surprise in the best way possible. She's created an outstanding ensemble cast that just gets richer, crazier, and sexier book by book. That One Moment really has me completely ecstatic for her next book/series.
That One Moment follows Vi and Hayden on a tumultous journey of how to live life after crushing loss. The characters take on a heavy issue and I love the way you see the perspective of how it affects everyone involved, not just the key players. It's life and the ripples that are made by our decisions have consequences. It's whether or not you give up or rebuild, whether you shut down or open up.
Beyond that, the book is packed with tons of laughter, hilarious British-isms that will amuse you, touching moments and cupcakes. What more could you ask for? Oh - steamy hot sex. Yes, Amy Daws delivers the goods. It's incredible and inspiring to watch the journey of Amy Daws and her London Lovers get better and better with every book.
That One Moment touched my heart, stomped on it a little, made me cry and laugh, and I came out the other side in love with Hayden and Vi.
Orginal concept and I love Hayden Clarke
****I received a copy this book in exchange for an honest review. Thank you****
That One Moment is the second book in the Lost in London Series. This is a standalone but I personally loved the first book, Not The One, and I would recommend reading it just because it’s excellent. It is told from Hayden and Vi’s POV. Several familiar faces from her London Lovers Series grace the pages, especially Theo and Leslie. The story starts up about few weeks after the last chapter of Not the One ends.
I think the way that Daws has Hayden tell his story is bloody brilliant. It shows his courage and his determination to stay well in a unique way I have not read yet. The story is refreshing and fun as it tugs at your heart.
I love Hayden Clarke. He’s charming, fun and playful. He’s the best uncle! At one moment, I thought my ovaries were going to explode with girlie glee. He’s also still hurting. He’s fighting himself and his past. He has made so much progress with the help of his family and Leslie. He’s s put up these walls and is scared anything could send him back into the dark.
Vilma, Vi, Harris is genuine and motherly. While she has had sadness in her past, she has a very loving family. She has 4 sexy huge football (soccer) playing brothers are very over protective of her. Vi and her dog Bruce run straight into Hayden and into his life. Could she possibly break through Hayden’s walls?
The one reason I loved this story so much is because their relationship naturally. Vi and Hayden’s relationship evolves naturally over time. They are adorable together. It’s one step forward with 2 steps back. They have to work at their HEA. I think it makes this story so much sweeter. 5 shining stars.
