Book 1, The 100 Series
This book can be downloaded and read in iBooks on your Mac or iOS device.
The first book in the New York Times bestselling series that inspired the hit CW television show.
No one has set foot on Earth in centuries -- until now.
Ever since a devastating nuclear war, humanity has lived on spaceships far above Earth's radioactive surface. Now, one hundred juvenile delinquents -- considered expendable by society -- are being sent on a dangerous mission: to recolonize the planet. It could be their second chance at life...or it could be a suicide mission.
CLARKE was arrested for treason, though she's haunted by the memory of what she really did. WELLS, the chancellor's son, came to Earth for the girl he loves -- but will she ever forgive him? Reckless BELLAMY fought his way onto the transport pod to protect his sister, the other half of the only pair of siblings in the universe. And GLASS managed to escape back onto the ship, only to find that life there is just as dangerous as she feared it would be on Earth.
Confronted with a savage land and haunted by secrets from their pasts, the hundred must fight to survive. They were never meant to be heroes, but they may be mankind's last hope.

Love the book, scared for the show
When I read the book was being made into a series I had to read this. The concept of the book is great, but I worry that CW's concept is too different from the book. I have to say Wells is my favorite juvenile convict out of the 100 sent back to earth to see if humans can live on earth once again.... As you read you find out from a few of the kids think and feel, along the way you find outburst what caused the earth mission so soon! I wish there second book already! Enjoy!
She Forgot to End It
Seriously! I get that all YA books have to be trilogy's (?) but at least each one has a full arc of storyline. The 100 doesn't end, it just stops. In the middle. No conclusion, no wind down, nothing. It's like she was wring a story and just walked away from it. It had such potential but turned out to be such a waste. You can't even write a spoiler because there are none. I can't believe I spent $10 on this.
I thought the book was interesting. I loved it personally and can't wait for the next one to come out.
