Sassy, Sexy, Southern Suspense

She uses her criminal past to catch crooks. He wants her back. In the grift. And in his life. Can Finley Goodhart convince Lex that doing good is the greatest hustle of all?

Ex-grifter Finley Goodhart may try to stay on the straight and narrow, but walking that thin line becomes wobbly when she believes her friend Penny was murdered. The last thing she wants is to work with her ex-partner (and ex-boyfriend), the brilliant (brilliantly frustrating) British con artist, Lex Leopold. However, when it appears Penny's demise might be related to an exclusive matchmaking service for millionaires, Fin needs Lex's help to pull a long con to get the goods on Penny.

Romance is in the air for hustlers, gangsters, and their marks. Unfortunately for Fin and Lex, infiltrating the racket doesn't make for a match made in heaven. This Valentine swindle could stop their hearts for good.

“Faced paced, bold, heartbreaking, this book has it all. It takes us deep into the world of hustlers, cons and dirty business. Yet it gives us glimpse of just how pure-hearted some of the worst con artist can be. Highly recommended for lovers of mystery and thrillers.”

DYNAMIC & COMPELLING! Lghudson, Mississippi

The Cupid Caper (A Finley Goodhart Crime Caper #1) is dynamic and compelling! The author has created a wonderful new series that will grab you from page 1 and keep you completely engaged until the last sentence. The characters are complex but realistic. The plot is sophisticated and enticing. The author’s vivid descriptions make you feel as though you are a participant and not just a reader. There are three major themes in the book: trust, faith and redemption. The art of the long con, the sting, the grift, the mafia, dirty money, hit men, murder and mayhem and a little romance will provide you with plenty of dynamic and compelling entertainment!

Finley Goodheart rides again!

"The hardest lessons came from trusting people who lied for a living."

And what do grifters like Finley Goodheart and her sidekick Lex do? They lie for a living...
When one of Finley’s oldest friends dies, the story around the whys and hows of it just don’t add up. Finley sets her sights on avenging Penny’s death in order for another one not to happen. It means infiltrating an expensive matchmaking service. With Fin’s shaky history, the question becomes can she get in? Another one is can she trust anyone out there involved in this including Lex.

Set in Atlanta and the surrounds, Reinhart once again makes us part of those watching what at first seems an unbelievable storyline. However, her innate intelligence shines even in the worst of circumstances and proves her unwavering loyalty to those she loves.

I was one of those privileged to have read “Pig n’ a Poke” and felt these characters needed a larger story and Larissa Reinhart proves she listens. Highly recommended.5/5
