Bean-lover and former charter boat chef White shares dozens of recipes that feature beans as their primary ingredient, placing equal emphasis on various types of beans, including black, white, garbanzo and red beans, as well as lentils. Ethnic dishes, such as Puerto Rican Garbanzos Fritos, and Zuppa Di Fagioli Alla Toscana, appear alongside American favorites like Red and White Chili, and Kidney Bean Salad.
