Publisher Description

Don’t miss book three in the #1 New York Times bestselling Maze Runner series, now a major motion picture starring Dylan O’Brien!

WICKED has taken everything from Thomas: his life, his memories, and now his only friends—the Gladers. But it’s finally over. The trials are complete, after one final test.

What WICKED doesn’t know is that Thomas remembers far more than they think. And it’s enough to prove that he can’t believe a word of what they say.

Thomas beat the Maze. He survived the Scorch. He’ll risk anything to save his friends. But the truth might be what ends it all.

The time for lies is over.

The first two books, The Maze Runner and The Scorch Trials, are also #1 worldwide blockbuster movies featuring the star of MTV's Teen Wolf, Dylan O'Brien; Kaya Scodelario; Aml Ameen; Will Poulter; and Thomas Brodie-Sangster!

Also look for The Fever Code, the much-buzzed-about series conclusion that finally reveals the story of how the maze was built, and James Dashner's other bestselling series, the Mortality Doctrine: The Eye of MindsThe Rule of Thoughts, and The Game of Lives.

Love it

This book is amazing. James Dashner is truly a skillful author. I have followed the series from the start and have never been disappointed. I recommend this book to everyone, but you have to read the first two books first!!!!!

A great end to an AMAZING trilogy.

Out of the three books, I would call this my favorite. Not because it had the best events or because it answered all the questions (which I'll discuss later), but because I got very emotionally into this book. I recently read all three books and even though this one is the shortest (by ~20 pages) it took me about twice as long. I was so scared to find out what happened to the characters. And I think that's why James Dashner is so good… he makes you REALLY care about the wellbeing of the characters. And for that, this book hit it out of the park.

I do have some complaints though:
1. Dashner advertised this book to "answer" all the questions, but I have a hard time believing that to be true. There are still many unanswered questions, even from the first book. A few more questions are also brought up in this book that remain unanswered. I would like to share a few, but that would involve me spoiling a big chunk of the book, and with "The Maze Runner" series, if it's spoiled, it's ruined, because the book lives on crazy twists. THATS GOOD. Just make sure they make sense… Sometimes Thomas makes these side comments to himself like "I wonder how she knew that?" or something, which is foreshadowing something big but then it's never explained. Why put that in?

2. I think we can all agree there were WAY too many deaths in this book. It's almost ridiculous how many deaths happen to major characters in the last 50 pages or so. I feel like the two main ones were unnecessary. Especially the last one near the end; I mean it seemed like it happened and no one cared….

3. Some logistical errors. For example, the number of Munies in the world seemed skewed to me (you'll find out who the "Munies" are in the first 15 pages of the book or so), almost like the author was ignoring most of the world even though he stated that the Flare has taken over the world…what?

4. The last bad thing I can say about this amazing book is Teresa's role kinda sucked… I mean she wasn't even in most of the book and when she came back it was just stupid. Read to find out what I mean.

All in all, this is the best book in the series, and I am anxiously waiting for "THE KILL ORDER"!!!!!

Great Ending

I loved it! It wasn't as good as the first but right up there with the second! There were some great twists and turns and I really enjoyed it. Great read!!!
