The EdTech Bible is the book about technology that I wish I had when I began my career in the classroom over ten years ago. No matter what your technology or teaching background, this is the book that will allow you to develop engaging, original and satisfying classroom experiences suited to your own teaching goals.
I’m excited to share my expertise with those new to the classroom as well as experienced teachers looking for new ideas.
Do you want to learn more about incorporating technology into your teaching practice but don’t know where to start?
Come with me as I share my journey along the EdTech landscape. I will share my experience and expertise along with resources that will help you explore using technology in your classroom too.
This is structured as a multi-media book and includes images, video, and links. Each chapter begins with Key Takeaways to highlight the main points. Everyone has their own story to tell about their journey of leveraging technology in the classroom. Here's mine! Asides provide ancillary information on hot topics. I include practical examples to use in your classroom. Video companions don't replace the text, but enhance the information. I share possibilities to inspire you to learn and share with your own network. Finally, at the end of each chapter you will find additional resources and next steps to help you start your own EdTech adventure!

I am a Senior Instructional Technologist at Fordham University. I develop a wide range of technology resources for Faculty, teaching them best practices in using technology-based teaching methods and materials. I am an engaging speaker and enthusiastic organizer, marshaling resources dedicated to training and assisting Faculty. I have developed and implemented training curricula on a wide range of topics such as “Designing Effective Presentations,” “Fostering Discussions and Community” and “Collaborating on the Web: Transforming Teaching and Research in Higher Education.”
I believe strongly in collaboration and sharing resources and am well versed in social media and web2.0 technologies. My online slidedecks have totals approaching half a million views. I have worked at Fordham since 2008. Prior to working at the higher-ed level, I taught high school math for 8 years.
