The Fix Up

Book 1, First Impressions

This book is available for download with iBooks on your Mac or iOS device, and with iTunes on your computer. Books can be read with iBooks on your Mac or iOS device.

Description

While he may look like the love child of a movie starlet and an NFL linebacker, Ben Langley has the people skills of a half-drowned porcupine. Why socialize when there are chemistry labs and bad sci-fi flicks? If he has any hope of taking the helm as CEO of the family business, Ben needs an image makeover. Pronto.

Enter Holly Colvin, owner of First Impressions public relations and branding firm, and the woman who just saved Ben from the clutches of an over-attentive sales clerk. Holly’s rebranded hundreds of companies in her career, but she’s never rebranded a person. The guy clearly needs help, though, and she’s just the woman for the job.

With the clock ticking for them both, Holly and Ben face off over wardrobe malfunctions and business jargon that sounds a lot sexier than it should. But can Holly make Ben into the man he thinks he should be without losing the man she’s starting to love?

Each book in the First Impressions series is a standalone, full-length story that can be enjoyed out of order.

Loved it!

4.5 stars - Fix up is a wonderful read it's charming and quirky and fun. It got cheesy at one point -- a bit too much business jargon sex talk. That aside, it's perfect in every other sense of the word. Buy it. Read it. Love it.

I received an ARC of this book, via Net Galley, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Fix me please

Ben and Holly meet in a furniture store. Then they kiss. The attraction is strong, fast, and electric. What's a guy to do with a chance to see her again? Yep, he calls her.

Ben needs help getting ready to make an important presentation. He needs to prove to himself and his father that he can take the reigns of the company and be the best new CEO. He does not want his dad to regret giving him this position. Not that he is all that sure he wants it.

Holly has already had a strong man try to ruin he career and take away her company. This is just attraction and simple desire, right? Then why does her body light on fire whenever she is near him? Ben is the only man who makes her feel this way. Now if only she can keep her hands and mouth to herself.

They find themselves becoming friends. Holly helps Ben prepare and get ready to be CEO. She gives him a new reason to be the alpha male she knows he can be. I found this to be an amazing start to the First Impressions series!! There is so much laughter, passion, and even geek references to make any reader glad they picked this book up. I loved it!!
