Here’s the same old “girl posing as a boy” story but with a rock-n-roll twist.
Remy Curran dreams of one day being in a band, except the group she wants to join refuses to hire a girl drummer. So, she auditions as a guy...and makes the cut.
Becoming “Sticks,” a member of Non-Castrato, isn’t quite what she dreamed it would be, though. She spends most of her time keeping up the subterfuge and learning how to walk, talk, act, and drink like a man.
But what’s even harder to deal with is acting oblivious when the band’s heartthrob lead singer, Asher Hart, treats her like one of the guys and not a woman. She never imagined he’d be so much more than a pretty face with a nice voice. But he’s better than perfect. He’s perfect for her.
When love and lies combine, Remy must keep up the act or lose everything. But who knew lying to reach one dream could prevent you from attaining an even bigger dream?
OMG loved it!!!!
I loved Remy and Asher story.... Really great series I hope we can read more ( Brandt and Sarah)..... Really loved how Asher could not help but love Remy
I need more of this series!!
This book was so good! Remy & Asher are just... So cute together. Linda Kage's writing style kept me intrigued the entire book! Such a great writer. But I need more of the characters, so it's only right for Sarah and Brandt's book to come next
Lies or Secrets of Omission?
Remy wants nothing more than to be in a band, so when the opportunity comes rocking around she goes to try out....and gets rejected because she's a girl. So she comes up with this I'll-show-you-who's-a-girl plan and dresses up as a dude. Not only does she get accepted in the band and gets to play at her first show, she also doesn't want to reveal herself because she's living her dream. And it doesn't help that the delectable, more than hot, melt-your-panties-off with that sexy voice, lead singer Asher Hart becomes really good friends with her/him when she's struggling with keeping these secrets and thoughts...especially the dirty ones she has of him. Oh, I almost forgot! He does meet the real her, and boy oh boy does that make this whole thing even worse.
Linda Kage has ended this series with a bang and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. The whole series is wonderfully written and, don't worry, the other characters have cameos in this one. Ladies and gents, I give you Linda Kage, who has for the sixth time, knocked my socks off.
On a final note, does anybody else think she should make a book about Sarah and Brandt? I vote yes!💁
