The Great Hunt

Wendy Higgins, the author of the New York Times bestselling Sweet Evil series, reimagines a classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale with The Great Hunt, a dramatic, romance-filled fantasy with rugged hunters, romantic tension, and a princess willing to risk all to save her kingdom.
When a monstrous beast attacks in Eurona, desperate measures must be taken. The king sends a proclamation to the best and bravest hunters: whoever kills the creature will win the hand of his daughter Princess Aerity as a reward. The princess recognizes her duty but cannot bear the idea of marrying a stranger—she was meant to marry for love—until a brooding local hunter, Paxton Seabolt, catches her attention. And while there’s no denying the fiery chemistry between them, Princess Aerity feels that Paxton’s mysteriousness is foreboding, maybe even dangerous.
Paxton is not the marrying type. Nor does he care much for spoiled royals and their arcane laws. He is determined to keep his focus on the task at hand—ridding the kingdom of the beast—but the princess continues to surprise him, and the secrets he’s buried begin to surface against his wishes.

I'm so excited for this to come out!! Love sweet evil trilogy and this looks just as amazing ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Another amazing book!
So I just finished reading this book, which I feel like I have been waiting to get my hands on for forever, and I am smashed. Completely and utterly emotionally smashed. I know that you wouldn’t think that this would affect me so much, but I am angry for what is happening, completely heartbroken for several of the characters, proud of the main female, disgusted by one of the characters, and I could keep going, but I won’t.
I was going to write a summary of the book, but you already get that from Wendy Higgins, so there’s really no need. Besides, most of what I wanted to write would give too much of the story away, and I have reviews like that. However, I will say that the way that the story played out was amazing, and the timeline seemed perfect. It never felt rushed to me, nor did the way that the feelings of the characters seem like it was out of proportion with the book.
The only thing that kills me is that it is going to take time for the next book to come out. I literally killed this book today, so now I am going to have to find others to keep me occupied while I wait for the next of this series to come out. PLEASE don’t take too long Wendy!! I know you have a timeline with the publishers, but I’m dying already lol.
When will the second book be coming out?? Thank you!
