This book contains some of the most common-sense advice I've ever seen in print. The life of George Boiardi serves as a great example of being the best teammate, son, friend and leader for us all! This is a must-read for any athlete, coach or parent of either. Thank you, Jon Gordon!
An excuse for a book
This book felt like it was written by a 15 year old. It's about a boy named George who was a hard working lacrosse player that died in the fourth quarter of a game after being hit too hard in the chest. It seems like a tribute to him out of niceness and respect. It tells you to do as George did rather than explain how those actions work and how they can benefit you. If you're going to write a book like this, please don't waste our money and charge $10.99. If this were a $4.99 book I wouldn't be upset. But for $10.99 I could have bought a book that was actually impactful and well written.
This book is really inspirational. We need to have teams of any sport read this, and we need more people like George he is a hero in my book and inspirational to the world he should have had a longer life but he took one for the team that day god bless his family😊🙂
