Book 1, The Jordan Brothers - The Jordan Brothers
This book can be downloaded and read in Apple Books on your Mac or iOS device.
Is there an equation for the perfect hookup? Turns out it’s a lot more complicated than one plus one. . . .
Sophie: Numbers are my comfort zone, which explains why my sex life is a big fat zero. Then again, if I’m smart enough to earn a PhD, why can’t I calculate a way to get a guy into bed, just to see what all the fuss is about? With my prima donna sister, Bella, getting married in Maine, I figure her wedding is the perfect opportunity for my little experiment. And Cain Jordan seems hot enough—he’s certainly drunk enough—to show me what I’ve been missing. Judging by the body of evidence, it’s a lot. . . .
Cain: Being stuck in the same town as my lying SOB twin brother, Christian—who may or may not be the father of the son I’m not allowed to see—is a hell of a reason to drink myself silly after the lobster boat docks each day. Any port in a storm . . . But Sophie’s different. She doesn’t play around. And she’s becoming a habit I don’t want to break. Because the smartest woman I’ve ever met is also the sexiest—and the only one who makes me want to change.
Don’t miss Bella and Christian’s story in The Breakup!

A new series by Erin!
One of my favorite authors, Erin McCarthy, has released the first book in her new series - “The Jordan Brothers” - titled “The Hookup.” This series has everything you know and love about Erin’s books - emotion, drama, laugh out loud moments and sexy, intriguing characters. She leaves you on the edge … waiting for the next book! Nothing like a nerdy, yet sassy, leading lady and bad boy twins!
*I purchased this book myself (because I read all of this author’s books), voluntarily reviewed this story, and I am posting an honest review.
Not your average heroine
When I first started reading the Hook UP I wasn’t too sure about it. Sophie intrigued me and Cain seemed like an SOB….but I kept reading and before I knew it my misgivings were replaced with late nights reading their story. Erin has a way of writing that really appeals to me. Her heroines are relatable and her hero’s are well, they get your imagination going let’s say…. definitely worth your time and money to get this one.
This book is great because even though the hero is flawed he is still lovable. In the romantic genre it is easy to fall in love with a billionaire but to fall for a working class alcoholic with issues is hard and made me like the characters more for not being perfect
