The Jerusalem Assassin
This book can be downloaded and read in iBooks on your Mac or iOS device.
In the fall of 1995, following the Oslo peace accord, a wave of Palestinian terror hits Jewish targets; Israel’s spy agencies engage in a clandestine war in Paris, Zurich, and Tel Aviv. But when a beautiful Mossad agent is mortally wounded in Amsterdam, master spy Jerusalem Gerster pursues her attackers back to Israel, where he confronts the most powerful forces and uncovers a sinister conspiracy to perpetrate an unprecedented national catastrophe—the assassination of Prime Minister Rabin. "Action-packed escapade ... memorable cast of characters ... pages turn as fast as the plot twists and locales shift, taking the reader from Paris to Zurich to Amsterdam to Tel Aviv." Jewish News.
A great finish to Lemmy's story.
Again, I appreciated the use of actual historical events with the fictional (or did it really all happen just this way?;) ) aspects of the story. The suspense really kept me reading. The interwoven plot lines and multiple important characters left me waiting for the other shoe to drop. Lemme remains a likable character despite his vocation as spy and hired mercenary. As with good suspense novels the end isn't all wrapped up with a bow. You're sucked in until the last page when you can finally breathe a sigh of relief. If you haven't already read The Jerusalem Inception start there and get the whole story.
