The Krinar Captive
This book can be downloaded and read in iBooks on your Mac or iOS device.
A new standalone romance from the New York Times bestselling author of Twist Me and The Krinar Chronicles
Emily Ross never expected to survive her deadly fall in the Costa Rican jungle, and she certainly never thought she’d wake up in a strangely futuristic dwelling, held captive by the most beautiful man she’d ever seen. A man who seems to be more than human…
Zaron is on Earth to facilitate the Krinar invasion—and to forget the terrible tragedy that ripped apart his life. Yet when he finds the broken body of a human girl, everything changes. For the first time in years, he feels something more than rage and grief, and Emily is the reason for that. Letting her go would compromise his mission, but keeping her could destroy him all over again.
NOTE: This is a full-length, standalone romance that takes place approximately five years before The Krinar Chronicles trilogy (aka Mia & Korum’s story). You do not have to have read that trilogy to enjoy this book.
I really enjoyed this story. I must admit when Zaron took her to the airport, I was screaming "Tell him you love him!" I couldn't put it down, I read it all weekend. I had to know if they would find their way back to each other. Why can't they make the Krinar Chronicles into a TV series? Keep making more, I'm hooked.
Epic love story
I received an advanced copy of this story in exchange for an honest review. I loved this book and all its characters. I felt for Emily in those first chapters, and I felt like I lived those bone chilling intense moments with her. She is fiercely independent and holds her heart close, unwillingness to let people get too close. Zoran is also fiercely independent and prefers solitude over company. How can two people who hold others at arms length for fear of loving and loosing, open their hearts to love again?
This story has a good amount of sex in it, and we expect nothing less. I love the way the characters get to let go when they have their special brand of sex. I really liked that this story explains how K-Day was and how the people of New York handled the invasion in the months afterward. Things that were hinted to in the MIA and Korum books, were explained in this books because of the earlier timeline. The Krinar and their technology were explained in this book so that if a new reader wanted to, they could read the books in timeline order instead of publishing order, and it would make just as much sense. I miss Emily and Zoran and their spicy and steamy relationship, as I zoomed through this book in one day, it was that good! A five star story with depth, great imagery and amazingly lovable characters.
Awesome love story❤️
This is such a great love story, untraditional yes but it's classic all the same. There is so much passion zinging between these two that all you can do is fan yourself and keep reading! I truly hope that Ms. Anna will continue writing books about the Krinar and their Charl's
