Description

From a New York Times Bestselling Author, The MacKinnon's Bride brings us love, honor, suspense, passion--all the good things we love in a Highlander Romance. When laird Iain MacKinnon's young son is captured by the English, the fierce Scottish chieftain retaliates in kind, capturing the daughter of his enemy to bargain for his boy's return. Fiercely loyal to kin, Iain never imagines a father can deny his child--or that he will become Page FitzSimon's savior. "Keep her, or kill her!" FitzSimon proclaims when Iain forces his hand. What can a good lad do, but take the lass home. Even as Page blames her reluctant champion for welching on a bargain with her father, she suspects the truth... the shadows hold secrets... and danger. Now only love can save MacKinnon's fiery new bride.

The MacKinnon's Bride

The author take you thru England and into Scotland as a young Page tries to escape what she believes to be her captures. The author creates an impish and tenacious heroine.

This book can a times be hilarious with naked men prancing about the woods. You will enjoy Page and her escapades.

5 Stars!!!

Absolutly Love this book!! U will really enjoy it !! The heroin is a brave women and the man representing her match respect her never mistreat her. Even When he si a "savage" he truly never abuse her.. And also there are secrets and other things in the story that u will enjoy and keep u on ur feet !

Full of blasphemy.

I read one quarter of the book and deleted it. Every other paragraph was saying Jesus or God in slang. I just don't like blasphemy and don't believe it was realistic for the time period. On top of this it just dragged on about a woman not being loved by her father and griping about her captor who is lusting after her the whole time. I have read many good books. This is not one of them. Don't waste your money or time with this book.
