Publisher Description

Tom Wilson, the actor, comedian, and writer best known for playing "Biff" in the classic movie "Back To The Future," goes on an unplanned adventure after meeting fellow actor Clayton Moore, the man who played The Lone Ranger on T.V., experienced the pitfalls of pop celebrity, and most notably, died over a decade ago. In stories of the past that careen from Ethel Merman on Broadway to John Belushi on his last night on earth, to fantastic tales of the present, including a showdown on horseback on Steven Spielberg's driveway, two somewhat reluctant icons form a memorable bond, and a remarkable read.

I'm wild about Tom Wilson's new book!

A beautiful blend of humor, innocence, sorrow, suspense, hope and faith - all in one fantastic book. Tom Wilson hits a home run with this one. His genius is revealed in the intriguing way he holds olden-day kindness up against the current shadow side of acting and comedy. And he manages to do this without a hint of 'preachiness' - quite a feat! A must read for any PARENT of a teen who dreams of fame in any field - a must read for any TEEN feeling a pull to perform. I couldn't put it down - really. And I really cannot say enough about it. Who in our world does not need some encouragement in the midst of difficulty? This book provides just that. Thank you Tom Wilson for writing it. Thank you. Can't wait to read it again!

Witty and Original…...

This fascinating book has created its own genre. It's "Harvey" meets "Respect for Acting by Uta Hagen" meets Jerry Lewis' "The Total Filmmaker". Part fantasy and part Hollywood movie making history. What is real and what is fantasy is for you the reader to finally decide before everyone rides off into the sunset. What other book can claim a cast of characters that includes Andrew Dice Clay, Jimmy Stewart, Mike Tyson, Steven Spielberg, Sam Kinison, Ethel Merman, The Lone Ranger and Skippy from Family Ties. Great stories from comedy clubs to Las Vegas to Hollywood backlots and more. I can't wait for The Masked Man part two and part three and maybe even a ride and or a cartoon series. Enjoy.

A funny, satisfying, and uplifting read.

Tom takes a genius idea for a book and weaves through satisfying behind-the-scene stories of his long Hollywood career--from his early standup days on the Sunset Strip to creating one of the most recognizable bullies ever caught on film.

More than just a rehash of celebrity memories, though, Tom brings the goods in a book that's part memoir, part confessional, and wee bit fantasy. Through it all, Tom's crisp writing style and keen sense of humor shines brightly as he struggles with being a pop icon in an industry and culture that has revered and tossed away so many before him.
