James, middle-aged, is given to one-night flings with younger men in whom he searches for someone he lost long ago. A random comment by his latest catch draws his mind back to the past, to a boy he once loved so fiercely, a boy drafted and sent to fight in Vietnam. A boy lost in the war. A boy James has never forgotten. WARNING: This is a very sad little story. It's also one of my best IMHO.
Short, but sweet
Very sweet, but very sad. A lot of emotion packed into a simple story.
This touched my heart right to the core. There is so much I want to say about this story but I won't keek you to long. All I really want to say is its a must read. Even if you are not into M/M this is a story full of emotion for me. Quick read and well worth free price.
It's is a good heartbreaking love story. A man who found love at 17 and lost love, feels he will never love or replace that love ever again.
