BEST BOOK I HAVE BOUGHT IN A WHILE
I could not wait to get this book. Barley started it and I put it next to Steve Martins 'Born Standing Up' and Simon Peggs 'Nerd Do Well'. So far it is a great read and I think it will only get better. Thank you Chris for being who you are and helping others with this funny and helpful book!
I have been a fan of Chris for a very long time, but I wasn't sure what to expect with this book. Fortunately, it was nothing like I thought it was going to be… it was sort of like getting a kick in the head within the first chapter. Fortunately for me, it was exactly what I needed. Between this book and the Steve Jobs biography (yes Chris, both were on the same level of inspiration) I feel like I can stop feeling the shame of being a nerd and be proud to be a Nerdist! After reading just a couple of chapters, I have just about completed my first short story in over a decade (maybe longer) and have started learning PHP so I can make a website I have been thinking about for the LAST 4 YEARS! Thank you Chris and thank you Penguin for publishing a book I will be recommending to a LOT of people.
Awesome book. Read first few pages and was stuck in it already...
Recommend this to all types of nerds!
